THE STORY OF SANGEET VIDEO
Sangeet Video was founded in the early 1980s by my late father, Mr. Surinder Singh Bahara. With a lifelong passion for films and cinema, he began his career as a cinema operator before opening a video rental shop in Wolverhampton. At a time when home entertainment was rapidly growing in popularity, the shop became a destination for film lovers, offering a wide selection of both Hollywood and Bollywood movies.
Through his dedication, friendly service, and genuine love of cinema, he built strong relationships with customers and established Sangeet Video as a well-known and trusted name within the local community. What started as a small family business soon became an important part of many households, serving generations of customers across Wolverhampton and the surrounding areas.
FROM FILM PRODUCTION TO DIGITAL SERVICES to Media Transfer & printing
In the late 1980s, my father became involved in Punjabi film production and produced Yaari Jatt Di, starring the late Veerendra. The film was shot in Wolverhampton and various locations across the United Kingdom, marking an important chapter in the history of the business.
As technology evolved, so did Sangeet Video. In the early 2000s, we began specialising in media transfer services, helping customers preserve treasured memories from VHS tapes, camcorder tapes, cine film, photographs, and audio recordings by converting them into modern digital formats.
Today, we continue to build on that tradition by offering both professional media transfer services and premium photo printing. Whether restoring old memories or producing high-quality photographic prints, our focus remains the same — delivering quality, care, and personal service to every customer.

Following my father’s retirement and his passing in 2020, I proudly continue the family business and the values he built it upon. What began over 40 years ago as a small film and video business has evolved into a modern media transfer and printing service, while still maintaining the same personal approach and commitment to quality.
Today, Sangeet Video Transfers & Print helps customers preserve, restore, and share their memories through professional tape transfers, cine film transfers, photograph scanning, photo restoration, and 12-colour Canon imagePROGRAF PRO-4600 large-format printing. Using broadcast-quality transfer equipment, we carefully convert VHS tapes, camcorder tapes, cine film, and other ageing media into modern digital formats while preserving the best possible picture and sound quality.
